CD covers made up of eco-friendly papers

CD covers are predominantly made up of plastic materials. These are non-degradeable wastes and cause many environmental problems. Seednow introduces CD covers made up of eco-friendly papers or recycled papers. This is prepared through Socio-entrepreneurship concept.

Seednow has some tie-up with government schools. Seednow provides raw materials like good quality recycled papers and fevicol paste to schools. School students shall paste these covers at their free time after school hours or during holidays. Seednow shall pay incentive to the students, collect and sell.

This is good replacement for plastic covers!

Work and Learn - To sustain education

There are some new initiatives coming up across to engage students to work and learn. They can work at evenings or on holidays and earn some money. This is great boon for poor school students to carry out their education despite of poverty. Below one is good example on this concept. Seednow's thoughts are inline with this social entrepreneurship concept.

I have produced a short-film on the theme of poverty and child education. It was screened at ponsai short film association's event, at Trichy last week, by the director Mr.Senthil. We received good applause and feedback. We have screened it to around hundred audience so far. Based on their positive response, we are releasing to public now.
Seednow distributes this shortfilm. Customers can send their postal address to service@seednow.net with subject as "Short Film" to purchase a copy of this short-film. The cost of the CD is Rs.50/- We can send it through VPP. Customers can pay Rs 80/- (Package and Shipping charges of Rs.30/- added) to the postman and collect the CD. This service is restricted to India only for time being.
